Hal Higdon here I come!
First, a little background on my recent running progress. After what I would call erratic training early in 2007 I sprained my ankle in mid April. To maintain my fitness level, or at least try, I began riding the stationary bike at the gym as well as pool running. I am back on my feet, literally now and after talking it over with my new friend Michael from the ChiADead group I have decided to start Hal Higdon's Novice Plan. It is not the plan I hoped to do and once I feel completely healed I may even try to jump up to the Intermediate Plan. First things first though, getting healthy and building a base are the priority for the next month. I had an off day today and a four mile run tomorrow.
